How Things Are Done hopes to offer food for thought on both the visible and hidden bits of pop culture. The name came to me in a dream (as did the perfect name for a marmalade cat, Poppy Stickers, but I never did anything about that), with the idea of showing things  that I think are good and positive and joyful, as well as things that are astoundingly clever or galactically stupid.

I research and dissect popular culture for a living, so there might just be a lot of stuff I found on the internet, as well as opinions that might be a bit much for my day job. There’s probably going to be a lot about fashion, food, feminism and the future. I really like robots, you see…
